What other animals can be kept with my turtle?
I ordered it already, but it comes in the 30th .. there is a Texas map turtle (they get about 4 inches). setp all I needed for it including a floating dock, filter, basking light, UVA light, water heater, 3 thermometers (2 submarines and land), plant floor to ceiling, supstrate the bottom is bigger than his head, and some floating Calcium block designed for turtles. I do not want anything that will require more money / other supplies of a different kind of food. (I feed my turtle a mixture Pellet bought the breeder who hes been fed since birth) if nothing is good, but dont answer if you do not know what youre talking about, it will eat more fish and nearly all the snails-theyre its natural prey. (I count on him to give a little time nails time if, as a treat). Thank you all!
As with most turtles, to find something to coexist with your map turtle is more trouble than it is. Some people have been able to stay with Plecos great, but the turtle will probably still try to eat and can become injured on their fins thorny. Even if he does not want to eat it, it can still become injured by accident while swimming. In addition, turtles are very messy and very people are struggling to keep live fish in water without changing the water very often. I just want to get fish feeding and snails as you said. It is really just not worth it.
