Nurturing the careers of young designers, Arch Academy of Design was established in 2000 under the direction of the Company Educational arc to specialized vocational training relevant to industry and global education. Academy offers programs in the industry based on international standards at the University of certification. Arc in partnership with casters Don College (degrees issued by the University of Hull, United Kingdom) offers a certificate, diploma, degree and credit programs in fashion, jewelry and interior design. Students opting for these programs can study in part to the Arc and partly in foreign universities associated ensure that they acquire skills in the real world.
Arch is an organization affiliated with the University of Rajasthan for art and design first undergraduate and graduate programs related. Arch is an authorized Study Centre of Punjab Technical University Honours degree jewelry Design, Fashion Technology, Textile Design, Interior Design. Promoting entrepreneurship among youth, Arch conduct several workshops to develop entrepreneurial skills programs sponsored by various Govt. Organs. Arch offers certificate programs with the Development Commissioner of Handicrafts (DCH), Ministry of Textiles (Government of India) for skills up gradation in fashion accessories.
Arch has been giving hands on skills for self employment and career development of successful youth. We offer a combination of practical skills and theory, supported by an understanding of the socio-cultural needs of the industry. Over the years a high ratio of successful employment Alumnus of the Ark has proved the vitality of the vocational and technical training in the field of fashion and design. Highly experienced faculty are actively involved in course development that ensures that students are in touch with the latest technology, commercial design and lateral thinking in design.
Regular visits of internationally renowned faculty and industry professionals so that students are required aware of the changing dynamics of the industry. The course encompasses several business essentials, including communication and soft management skills necessary to succeed career. Students present their final work in a fashion degree and exposure. The Academy has a strong international vocation with students from several countries such as Spain, Kuwait, United Kingdom, Nepal, Canada and Dubai.
We encourage our students to participate in various competitions at national and international levels. Many have won prestigious awards such as competition Tahitian Pearl, Pearl Essence Design Competition, World Gold Council Auditions-, IIGJ-Visions, etc. Academy has its alliances with the Rotaract Club, Red Ribbon Club, DCH, MSME, Ruda, RKCL, RMOL, CII and AIESEC.
Arch came with the department of fashion and clothing design in response to the rapidly growing demand from industry. The course aims to transform students with unique professional / designers combining creativity, entrepreneurship, technology and market awareness. Fashion Design provides an international context relevant to their studies and at the same time, it reflects the spirit and concerns of Indian industry. Fashion Design as a course has a well-integrated multi-disciplinary in-depth knowledge and learning design, liberal arts, the development of tissue, Clothing engineering, research and forecast studies, merchandising market and technology information. Creative entries and practical course to provide the essential links between the consumer and the manufacturer.
Fashion Design alumni can be used in homes export, design studios, retail and fashion houses. They can work as a fashion designer, Fashion Coordinator, responsible for design, fashion Merchandiser, Production Manager, Buyer, quality control manager, Freelance Designer, Consultant, stylist, exhibits and experts visualization, fashion and lifestyle journalist, costume designer and Illustrator.
