How to design a subwoofer
Technology has made things simple and easy. The sound system that plays our songs Preferred is one of the greatest inventions. The clarity of the sound system has been increased to levels much because of the improvement recent inventions. Subwoofer is such a device which is used to increase the clarity and effect of music. He is a speaker that is used to reproduce low-field notes. These subwoofers are produced by many companies, including kicker is well known and reputable manufacturer. This article will discuss on how to make a kicker subwoofer box.
Things needed to carry out this process is a fiberboard which is medium density, generally referred MDF, screws, glue, subwoofer, Terminal Cup, the son, a circular saw and jig and a drill. The process will require the use of a thumb three quarters of fiberboard and twelve-inch subwoofer. The following paragraphs discuss the steps to follow.
The first step is to prepare the front of the box, back and side panels. The front panel has a dimension of 14 * 14 cm. The size of the rear panel also the same. Considering that the size of the side panel is 14 * 12 cm. The fiberboard is cut in these measures and kept ready.
Then we go to the box top panel and bottom panel. They have the dimension 12 1 / 2 * 12 inches. The fiberboard is cut to that extent and kept ready.
Then the top panel, bottom panel and the side they are arranged to form a rectangle. The panels made to link each other with screws and glue. The panels are placed so that the dimension measured is 14 * 14 cm.
A opening is cut using the subwoofer model. This opening is at the center of the front panel. This opening is used as a provision to place the subwoofer low. Similarly an opening is made using the Cup model. This opening is at the center of the rear panel. This opening is used as a provision to place the cup.
However, these panels are fixed with the rectangle already done, with screws and glue. A wire length of 14 inches is attached to the back of the cup. The wire is inserted in the arrangements for the Cup. The cup is then held in place with the help of screws. other end is attached to the subwoofer by a terminal. Then, the box is placed in the supply and held in position using the screw.
Thus, the article would have given you an idea of how to make a subwoofer box kicker. The subs do not play an important role in increasing the effect of the system as a whole. The equipment must be clean and well maintained so that the system lasts longer and gives the effect we need.
