The material is the best: wood, plastic or MDF?
Basswood is the strongest and lightest filling material, but tends to be the most expensive as well (similar upgrade to iron to steel). This means that little or no slack in the panels or shutters; slim, attractive with larger pieces architectural integrity, and the possibility for more elegant models. Some manufacturers have turned to Cedar, poplar, pine or exotic wood to reduce costs while retaining most of the strength of lime.
For customers committed to wood, but can not afford traditional hardwoods, There laminated paperboard and wood butted available. They are created by mixing pieces of wood and glue to provide straight and less expensive hardware. The "genius" of wood tend to have problems with incompatible carpentry, weight and the glue that ages and wears differently than the nearby forest.
